Tanaka Koki is Johnny's Police on Downtown’s new show

Tanaka Koki (of KAT-TUN) will join Kanjani8’s Yasuda Shota and AKB48 members as regulars on Fuji TV’s new show, “Bakusho! Dainippon Akan Keisatsu”, which will air beginning April 24th.
On this show, under the command of “Police Chief” Hamada Masatoshi (Downtown), celebrities dressed as police officers will investigate unintentionally funny everyday events sent in by viewers, and judged as good or bad by “Superintendent Police General” Matsumoto Hitoshi (Downtown) and guest judges.
Broadcast three times in the past, it garnered much attention, and will become a regular show this spring. This time, Yasuda and Tanaka will form the new “Johnny’s Police” and will appear every other week. There will be three members chosen from AKB48 to appear each time as the “AKB Police”.
This show is also important as it is the first time Downtown will have a regular show on Fuji TV’s Sunday 8:00 PM spot since “Downtown no Gottsu Ee Kanji” 14 years ago. This time, there will be a 2-hour special featuring “Gottsu” members Imada Kouji, Itao Itsuji, and Higashino Kouji as a special police unit, and Go Hiromi and Daichi Mao as guest judges. Yasuda will represent the Johnny’s Police and Oshima Yuko, Shinoda Mariko, and Kojima Haruna will be representing the AKB Police, so don’t miss it!
