Who are the highest-paid actresses for dramas?

Japanese tabloid “Shukan Jitsuwa” was able to gather some info on Japanese actresses during Golden Week and recently published a detailed list of the current market situation.
The list ranks the actresses in relation to the minimum fee they get paid for appearing in a drama series per episode. In addition to the fee, reporters also managed find out the potential ratings that are expected from them by TV stations. Of course, the market value changes depending on the actress’ popularity and her recent success, but right now Yoshitaka Yuriko seems to be the most expensive actress one can cast for a drama.
Check out the list below for more details!
===
Current (Minimum) Fees per Drama Episode and Potential TV Ratings of Japanese Actresses
01 – 28,444 USD – 12.1% – Yoshitaka Yuriko
02 – 25,970 USD – 12.5% – Ayase Haruka
03 – 24,734 USD – 12.0% – Ueno Juri
04 – 24,734 USD – 11.4% – Matsushita Nao
05 – 22,260 USD – 11.3% – Kanno Miho
06 – 19,787 USD – 11.2% – Ueto Aya
07 – 19,787 USD – 10.0% – Fukada Kyoko
08 – 19,787 USD – 09.8% – Fukatsu Eri
09 – 19,787 USD – 09.7% – Amami Yuki
10 – 19,787 USD – 04.7% – Shinohara Ryoko
11 – 18,550 USD – 11.5% – Kitagawa Keiko
12 – 18,550 USD – 06.9% – Nakama Yukie
13 – 18,550 USD – 06.6% – Yonekura Ryoko
14 – 18,550 USD – 00.1% – Fujiwara Norika
15 – 18,550 USD – 00.1% – Matsushima Nanako
16 – 17,313 USD – 10.9% – Toda Erika
17 – 17,313 USD – 10.3% – Shibasaki Kou
18 – 17,313 USD – 10.1% – Maki Yoko
19 – 17,313 USD – 09.6% – Aibu Saki
20 – 17,313 USD – 09.4% – Suzuki Kyoka
===
The list clearly shows that a high fee doesn’t equal high potential ratings. For example, Shinohara Ryoko gets paid a lot but still has to prove her profitability after a longer break from acting and a bad decision to make her comeback via a Kimura Takuya drama. On the other hand, women like Fujiwara Norika and Matsushima Nanako simply get paid a lot just because they’re worth it, not because they’re outstanding actresses that can attract a high number of people.
It should also be taken into consideration that sheer success doesn’t determine one’s market value. The relationships between the agencies and TV stations are a highly influential factor as well. TV stations can’t try lowering the fee if the popularity of an actresses suddenly decreases; it would hurt their relationship with her agency and future collaborations.
Looking at Yoshitaka’s current value, it’s interesting to know that by the beginning of the year, she started out with a minimum fee of $18,550 USD. However, her recent exposure in the “GANTZ” movies and her extremely popular CM for Suntory’s whiskey brand, “Torys Highball“, boosted her potential rating as well as her market value. Only Ayase Haruka has a higher potential rating.

Other young and popular actresses that didn’t make it into the top 20:
23 – 16,077 USD – 11.6% – Sasaki Nozomi
24 – 16,077 USD – 03.2% – Miyazaki Aoi
26 – 14,840 USD – 10.4% – Inoue Mao
27 – 14,840 USD – 10.2% – Maeda Atsuko (AKB48)
Unfortunately, Nagasawa Masami, once high up on that list, didn’t manage to make it into the top 50 with her fee of at least 12,367 USD, but a potential rating of only 0.01%.
Of course, all figures published by a tabloid magazine should be taken with a grain of salt.

SNSD sit down for an interview on “Ousama no Brunch”!

The girls from SNSD recently appeared on the show “Ousama no Brunch” to talk about their new album with reporter Marina.
The girls spoke some English and talked about the Mr. Taxi dance, the foods they want to try, and their favorite places in Japan so far.
Check out the translation and video below!
===
===
Marina: Everyone speaks Japanese, don’t you?
Girls: Just a little bit…
Marina: Who’s the one that can speak the most?
Girls: It’s Sooyoung, she’s the best.
Marina: You can pretty much speak, then?
Sooyoung: Well, just everyday conversation.
Marina: Are you studying right now?
Sooyoung: Yes, everyone is doing their best to study hard.

Marina: It shows up in your songs as well, but Tiffany and Jessica can speak English, right?
Girls: Yes.
Marina: Hi~
Tiffany: Hi! Can you speak English?
Marina: Yes, I can!
Tiffany: Really? We-we feel much more comfortable.
Marina: Really? We should talk in English more!
Tiffany: The girls are good too!
Marina: Oh really? Oh my God, hi girls!
Girls: Hi~
Marina: Wow, this is nice!
Tiffany & Jessica: You speak fluently!

Marina: Thank you! But today we’d better speak in Japanese. This time, SNSD are releasing their first Japanese album on June 1st, congratulations!
Tiffany: The songs we’ve announced before, Gee, Genie, and Mr. Taxi are included, but there’s a lot of new songs this time as well. We’re challenging a new style as well, so we want everyone to hear it as soon as possible.
Marina: Is that – you brought it with you?
Sooyoung: This comes inside the box.
Tiffany: It’s cute, right?

Marina: Mr. Taxi’s… like this? Teach me!
Sunny: You put your hands like you’re holding handles and bounce your body. That’s the key point.
Sooyoung: There’s also a part with this kind of motion. This is… SNSD’s hypnotism.
Marina: Hypnotism?! What is that?
Sooyoung: SNSD hypnotism~

Marina: What kind of Japanese foods do the girls want to try?
Yuri: I want to eat takoyaki at Dotonbori in Osaka!
Marina: Have you eaten takoyaki before?
Yuri: Of course, I’ve eaten it in Korea as well.

Marina: Are there any memorable places that you’ve been to up until now?
Hyoyeon: Tokyo Disney Sea.
Sooyoung: We went to Hokkaidou.
Marina:In your free time?
Sooyoung: Yes. The ramen was really delicious. And, when we went to Osaka…
Jessica: It’s Osaka for me too!
Sooyoung: There was a really beautiful river flowing in front of Osaka Castle Hall, so I want to try riding a boat there with the members.
Girls: I wanna go!
Sooyoung: Let’s go!

Seohyun: Everyone, finally SNSD’s first album will be released! From now on, we’ll work harder and harder, so please cheer us on!
Sooyoung: Please come see us on our tour too!

All about UEDA TATSUYA ( not all i think) ^^ part 2

- TRIVIA:

He's a fan of Rorounin Kenshin. Swords were popular back then so he wanted Sanosuke's sword. It's the biggest sword in the story so he looked for the biggest piece of wood in the forest. The rule then was,no one else among his circle of friends should have a wood bigger than what he had.
- TRIVIA:
He made up a Pet Game when he was younger at his school.Girls are masters while boys are pets.Apparently, it was popular and everyone wanted to be his master. This was in 1st grade & he's already popular among the girls!

- TRIVIA:
One time, right after the concert, the butterfly sticker he wore fell off & he accidentally stepped on it. It stuck to his shoe & it was so hard to take off even at full force. When it finally came off his shoe his shoe would still be sticking to the floor whenever he makes a step.

- TRIVIA:

According to Ueda,TaNaka is a combination that focuses on jokes. It's either you get bullied or ignored(if you're not funny).

- TRIVIA:
Ueda & Kame had a huge fight backstage because of Maru's mistake on the stage performance .Maru was almost crying while they were fighting. Ueda wasn't able to cover up Maru's mistake & Kame thought that would've been easy to do,

- TRIVIA:
Ueda used to try to kick Junno, who would just catch his leg & hold it up in the air so that Tachan could only hop.

- QUOTE:
"I played around with an air gun and pretended to be Kamen Rider, because I liked it."
- QUOTE:
"I have a memory from elementary school of doing sword fights with branches."

KAT-TUN 10Q " about their future"

10 Questions on their future

Q1 What are your plans for today after the interview?

Kame: If I have the time, I think I'll go buy a camera. I have a normal single lens reflex camera, but I've been wanting a single lens digital camera. After that, there's a recording of a part of “Going!”, maybe something that's gonna be inserted during the live broadcast. Huh, I'm pretty busy... I want a holiday~ (laughs)

Junno: I'll go straight home! Then I'm going to eat something and after this maybe watch a variety or comedy show I tried to record. Ah, it might be more fun to watch Koki in “Akan Keisatsu” (laughs).

Koki: Of course I'll go straight home! Because I want to see my pets quickly (laughs). Recently, I've started taking care of a ferret. I really didn't plan to, but when I petted it through the cage, it was so cute, I ended up buying it. Since just cleaning the cage and feeding it takes 3 to 4 hours, it's quite troublesome, but still fun.

Ueda: Since I recently got a dog, I often return home immediately.... Tonight I would like to go out to eat Japanese.

Nakamaru: I have no specific plans, but I'd like to go eat kushiage! I've been thinking about eating some since yesterday, but couldn't go. And since uni started I'll have to study... I'll do my best aiming for graduation!

Q2 Plans for tomorrow?

Kame: I'm going to a filming on location for a tv programme!

Junno: I have plans to go out to eat with Acchan from Oriental Radio. We became friends because we did a programme together. We're going to a restaurant I chose and have sushi. I'm looking forward to it ☆

Koki: Since I will probably have the day off tomorrow, I have a lot of things I'd like to do! I'll practise guitar, and also want to go to kaatsu training. And I'll have to go to the dentist (laughs). I only recently started playing the guitar. There's not enough time!

Ueda: I'm going to the vet for my dog's vaccination!

Nakamaru: Tomorrow I finally have the day off again after a long time~ Even if I don't have work, I'll definitely get up at 8! If I sleep until noon, I'm disappointed in myself. I've been getting up early for two years now.

Q3 What's a hairstyle you'd like to try?

Kame: Since I like my current hairstyle, there's none in particular! When I change my hairstyle, it's often a change for work reasons. If I don't need to do that, I'm the type who's fine with not going to the hairdresser. But I also went through a phase where my life depended on my hairstyle because I had my mind set on wanting to be popular (laughs). Maybe I too got a bit more laid-back (laughs).

Junno: A hairstyle like Black Jack! A strand of black hair. Wouldn't that be cool!? (laughs)

Koki: I probably already have had every hairstyle (laughs). What I haven't done yet is only stuff like dreads. Of all the styles had so far, I personally think the red mohawk was great. But I only had it for a couple of days and didn't show it publicly on photos or tv!

Ueda: Blond hair! Soon it'll be summer, so I'd like to have something with a light feeling to it, and about two days ago I suddenly was hit with the idea o getting blond hair. But when I asked the other members and the staff, I only got a not really positive reaction like “......”, so I might not do it (laughs). Because I did it around the end of my teens, I would like to try the light blond hair again someday.

Nakamaru: I maybe want it even shorter. Drastically, like around the time I did “Rescue”!

Q4 What would you like to do during this year's summer vacation?

Kame: I don't want to plan it in advance! When you decide on something, doesn't it turn into an “obligation” you have to do...? If I wanted to go on a trip, I'd set off without a certain destination in mind, no matter if within or outside of Japan.

Junno: I'd like to experience the summer while travelling on Okinawa!

Koki: Because I got a boating licence, I'd like to go cruising on the ocean. It'd also be nice if I got out the boat and went fishing with the other members.

Ueda: I'd like to go to a summer resort. Karuizawa would be nice. In Karuizawa, there's a hotel I like and a long time ago I went there every year with friends. The food's delicious and you have reserved onsen, so you can relax.

Nakamaru: I want to go to Las Vegas. Since like two years ago, Masuda from NEWS and I have been talking about going, but it somehow couldn't be realised so far...

Q5 A challenge you'd like to take on as KAT-TUN?

Kame: I want to try a talk show or acting in something!

Junno: I want to do acting. Like.... an adaption of “Slam Dunk”? When the roles get decided, I'd like to play Micchi (laughs). Since 3-point shots have been my speciality since forever, it'd be perfect.

Koki: The five of us going to an onsen! Imagining this makes me laugh.

Ueda: I think I'd like doing a movie with everyone.

Nakamaru: A two-hour drama special! A story about everyone as university students, finding themselves in this complicated society, walking through life. Yes, that might be super fun (laughs).

Q6 At what age do you want to get married?

Kame: Honestly, right now I don't think about wanting to get married~ So I don't have any expectations about the age. But I'd like to have a child in my twenties! My ideal self would be a cool dad who can take an active part in sports days.

Junno: For “the ideal guy” it'd be in the latter half of his twenties. I think the reason for this is because generally speaking it's a time where the balance of age and income is good. Well, but in reality, I won't know until I've reached that age (laughs).

Koki: I don't think I'm suitable for marriage, so I don't want to do it right now. I don't cooperate well. Like, about life or money things, I think I couldn't stand having my wife interfere with it (laughs). But I still would like to marry some day.

Ueda: I definitely want to marry some day! My dream is to marry and then sleep next to my wife and kid like the character for 'river' (川) (blushes).

Nakamaru: Incidentally, when I entered JE with 15, I said I'd wanted to marry with 22, but this age already passed by ordinarily (laughs). Now I think it'll be around my mid-thirties.

Q7 How would you want your new house after marriage to be like?

Kame: With a big garden, a bath the whole family can fit into, with a spacious living room... And with greenery. Wouldn't it be ideal if you could spend your time hearing the birds singing? Because I'm Japanese, I want to experience the four seasons!

Junno: As newlyweds, maybe in a stylish mansion, something what you'd imagine with a white interior. After getting a child, a spacious house in a quiet residential area would be good (← lost in his fantasies). I'd keep a dog in the garden, and would build stuff for the kid's room or furniture like an amateur carpenter, that would make a nice home (← still fantasising).

Koki: A big house with a garden and a sauna!

Ueda: In a mansion, the maintenance and everything is done for you. Having a house is attractive, but since you have to take care of everything yourself, it might be bothersome. So, a mansion as newlyweds and then a house around 40?

Nakamaru: I will think this over carefully until I get married!

Q8 After marriage, how many children do you want?

Kame: I want “as many as possible” (laughs)! Their names? I cannot decide on this yet~ As for raising them, if I only teach them the right manners, they can live an unrestrained life as children. Like, “watch and learn”, “have experiences and learn”.

Junno: Ideally three! I enjoyed being one of three children myself. For the names, if it's a boy, I want something with “nosuke” in it. For girls, maybe the name of a flower...?

Koki: I want a lot! I'd go for naming the children after seeing their face. What just came to my mind would be the name 'Luna', written with 'tsuki' (月). Luna is the name of a moon goddess and would be a good name for a girl.

Ueda: I'd like to have one girl. Her name would be Suzuka, written 涼風 (cool wind).

Nakamaru: Because I'm one of three siblings too, three children would be nice.

Q9 A wish you'd like to fulfil in the next ten years?

Kame: I'd like to do something for my parents! It's been a dream of mine since I was a child, that I'd team up with my brothers and build a house. I want to build a house with everybody's thoughts put into it, where you can feel at home. My hope is to build a training room in the basement (laughs).

Junno: Starting a shop (laughs). Selling clothes or groceries!

Koki: Building a big garage, I want to put my car and bike in there and look at them. It would also be nice to tamper with the bike, or just go touring. This is fun with a car, but being able to feel the wind on the bike feels great!

Ueda: That would be marriage (laughs). Since I'd be 37 in ten years. It would kind of suck if I weren't able to marry (laughs). It would be nice to have a restaurant together with my wife.

Nakamaru: I want to get even better at beatboxing. Plus, I'll gain success in the character business (laughs)! Either something for an official website, or I'll think of a completely new one. It would be the best if I could get a job using one of my own illustrations.

Q10 How would you like to live in your old age?

Kame: Touring with my grandchildren, and making stuff in my hometown. Like designing accessories myself. And if I can keep working, I'd like to do that, of course. The relationship to my wife... I want a relationship where, no matter what age, we'll have a goodbye kiss and a goodnight kiss, something like that.

Junno: My mother is now 61, but still very active and energetic. So I want to follow her example and if possible also age well. I want to continue working and it would make me happy if I could still do acting. In my last years I'd like to live carefree in the countryside with my wife, working on the field.

Koki: I'd like to try hitting on people in Shibuya (laughs). Just kidding, but no matter how old, I'd like to be a cool person who will be seen as a “man” by girls. And, I would like to continue working as long as possible. I want to dance as long as I can move, I want to sing as long as I have a voice, I want to act as long as I can remember my lines.

Ueda: I cannot think of what will happen... but I think it would be nice if I could continue work if possible and live happily. And ideally living in harmony and happily together with my family.

Nakamaru: I'd like my remaining years to be without haste. Because this work offers a lot of possibilities, I want to continue if I can with acting or beatbox, but I'd like to spend my life at a slow pace. With my wife I'd like to have a relaxed relationship. And if my son would be interested in working in the entertainment industry....

Bonus Something you want to have decided clearly once and for all.

Kame: There's something girls wear which looks like a skirt, but when they stand up, it's actually pants, right? I'd like this to be cleared up. On my part I only think, “...and I got all excited already~” (laughs).

Junno: Often anman are koshian, but you know how there are also tsubuan? I love tsubuan, but at the conbini they almost always have koshian. Then I'm all, if you carry them, please get both!

Koki: Recently I have been wondering about donuts. Like, they have a hole in the middle so the fire can pass through easily. But since there are also donuts without a hole, I thought that maybe the hole isn't necessary from the beginning (laughs).

Ueda: I'm the type of person who doesn't worry about things in everyday life and since I make decisions quickly, there's nothing in particular. But recently I was undecided about dyeing my hair blond. But taking in everyone's opinion, I made up my mind quickly (laughs).

Nakamaru: When you're driving a car, and enter the major road from a road in a 3-way junction, you use the left blinker when going left. But wouldn't the right one also be necessary to let the cars coming from the right know? ...this always worries me (laughs).

Kyaa !!! TAt-chan was sooo cute always think about dog XD
