DOWNER will DISBAND

Sad news and Sad news everywhere :'(

Visual Kei band DOWNER had some ups and downs the past years. In 2011 the band's drummer departed and two years later their bassist. But after gaining a new drummer and bassist last year and announcing new releases it's surprising to many fans that now the band has announced its disbanding after an activity period of 6 years.

As reason the members pointed out that they want different things for the future of DOWNER and decided that they can't continue like this. Guitaristhirari explained that in his opinion they've reached their limits with this band.

The last live will be held at Takadanobaba AREA on August 26th.

BMP OF CHICKEN vocalist Motoo Fujiwara Undergoes Surgery For Peumothorax

I have 2 new news for us...

1 is a good news and the other one is a bad news.. :(

ok.. we start with the bad news...

BUMP OF CHICKEN's vocalist has been hospitalized after surgery for pneumothorax. For this reason, the band's concert scheduled for March 31st at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST will be postponed

But don't worry.. the good news is :)

Has already been announced that the surgery was a success and that Fujiwara will be discharged in a few days.

All the members discussed their upcoming plans basing on how fast Fujiwara will recover, since he already started his rehabilitation. The event will be now held on the July 15th.

D=OUT drummer Minase Departs

Minna-san we got a sad news from D=OUT,

D=OUT drummer Minase announced to depart from the band after being part of it for 7 years, since its formation in 2007. what a sad news.. :'(

the reason for his departure was..that he is the eldest son in his family and he feels like it's his responsibility to take over the family business. With the departure from the band he will completely retire from musical activities to focus on this job.

Looking back at the activity period of this band I was able to gain so many precious experiences. All the things I wouldn't have been able to experience somewhere else, the things I've felt and the sceneries I've seen, it was all thanks to the members, the staff, all people concerned, my family, my friends and especially thanks to you, our fans. I'm really thankful.

Let's pray so that his family business can run smooth... :)
