As the time passes, we realize how much damage this has caused.

When we think about those affected by the damage, as well as their family and friends… our hearts ache. We’re really concerned.

What is something good to say at a time like this? We just can’t find the right words.
Right now, we’re absolutely praying from the bottom of our hearts that everyone is safe.

We’re doing things now so that everyone can smile and be energetic again.
And because of that we’re going to work with all of our might.

We also have experience with the Great Hanshin Earthquake (1995). During that time, we didn’t give up because there were so many people who were doing their best to help us.

Now, we need to do what we can for those affected by this disaster, let’s do our very best.

Right now, people still don’t have peace of mind, but all of us members really wish that everyone will be able to smile again as quickly as possible.

A major disaster is happening.
Immediately following the earthquake, all of the members wrote e-mails to check up on one another and were relieved and happy to hear that none of the members had injuries, and that all of us were safe. However, all of the members are concerned for the victims and their families and those important to them.
We still worry about things like the aftershocks, but when it comes down to it, let’s work together and do whatever we can.
Things like conserving electricity… even one second is good. What can we do from where we are now?
There are still people that are suffering. This isn’t someone else’s problem.
Everyone, we’re connected, let’s become one.
And we pray from the bottom of our hearts for the safety of those in the area where the disaster occurred.

Right now, various places are damaged throughout Japan and when we see the news on TV, it’s really heartbreaking…

We sincerely pray that the victims are safe….

We heard that a lot of fans were worrying about us.
We, NYC, and the Hey! Say! JUMP members are safe with no injuries.
So please don’t worry.

However, all of this damage is the reality of Japan and we can’t turn our eyes away from it.

As it gets colder, there are people there with only a little bit to drink and only a little bit to eat.

The things we can do now are really small things, but…
Even if it’s small, conserve electricity so that we can diffuse it to the areas that are damaged.
We hope that food and goods can be sent to that region as soon as possible.

And,
We want to do something to give them cheer and smiles…

Even something small is okay…

If you don’t try, then it’s no good…
When we combine our hearts together, even if it’s something small, one thing becomes two, two things become three and then we can do something big.

Hereafter, we’ll continue thinking more about what things we can do to help.

People can’t be relieved just yet. We can all call out to others around us about this and overcome this together…

It pains my heart to know that the victims and their families and friends are spending their days being anxious. I’m shocked whenever I watch the news since the damage is always more than I had imagined it to be.

I can’t find the right words for a situation like this, but I pray for everyone’s safety and I hope that relief will be there one day soon. I hope that it becomes an environment where the victims are safe and they can feel a little peace of mind.

I’ve been thinking about what I can do to possibly help out in this situation.

Let’s all work together to understand this situation and do things like conserve electricity.

These are painful times, but if everyone works together, then I believe we can overcome this.

Also, the people who are doing the rescue operations in the affected areas have a really brutal task.
I am so grateful to you all and I want you all to continue being strong and do your best.

All of the talents and staff want to do our very best so that someday soon, we can see a lot of peoples’ smiles again.

Many artists are leaving comments, but it seems all of the members of Johnny & Associates have left personal messages in regards to the tragic Tohoku Pacific Ocean earthquake disaster.

A week ago we just had a concert in Miyagi and Iwate and now the situation that faces those who came to the concert really makes us worry.
When the earthquake happened, there were also some members who were doing work in the Tohoku region.
The tremors were so strong and we can’t help but feel anxious for those who are living in that situation right now.
We’ve had “THE! TETSUWAN! DASH!!” solar car on location along the Pacific Ocean there countless times.
Everyone on location is always so kind and we’ve developed a strong connection with the people there.
Let’s all take each others’ hands together, let’s encourage one another and do what we can now. It’s the only way we can face this situation.
Turn off a light in a room, unplug things from outlets you aren’t using, don’t use water you don’t need,,,
They may be small things, but if everyone participates then it can absolutely be helpful.
Please don’t forget that.

Something major has happened. Every time we hear new news, we feel like we’re going to cry as we realize how much damage this has really caused.
Our hearts ache naturally for the victims, but also for their families, relatives and friends; when we think about how they must be feeling.
We have so many thoughts, but we mostly just wish for  an environment where the people affected by the damage can be rescued, the goods can reach that area and confirmation of peoples’ safety is happening.
We heard that fans were concerned for our safety, but we’re all fine.
We have to conserve electricity and water and we need to only use phones in the case of an emergency. I think that’s all we can do, even though it’s small it’s something we can do.
Not counting the areas struck by the disaster, I feel there is still more we can do.
Let’s all think about what we can do and then act on it.
I want us all to work together to send support up to the area struck by the disaster.

Every day, the more we watch the news and the more we know, we feel such great  concern for the victims of this disaster.

Right now, we can do things like conserve electricity, conserve water, not use the phone unless it’s an emergency and donate money…, We’re in Tokyo and we need to do what we can as much as possible. We believe that when the small things pile up, it can be really helpful.
Concerning our own actions, we’re going to do whatever we can. We have a thought that “We want to see everyone smile even if it’s through something small…”. We’re going to do whatever we can with all of our might.
Things are still unpredictable for those in the area struck by the disaster, but their families, friends and those close to them are cheering for them and they will climb over this. That’s what all of us members are hoping for.

Akanishi Jin to make appearance in “Pirates of the Caribbean 4″?

Gossip magazine “Shukan Josei“s reported on September 7th that ex-KAT-TUN member, Akanishi Jin, will debut in a Hollywood movie – “Pirates of the Caribbean 4“, to be exact, scheduled for release sometime in 2011.
‘Shukan Josei’ contacted Walt Disney Japan for confirmation on the rumor, and they answered that they have not yet been informed about it at the moment.
If this is true, it would be a great chance for Jin, because according to Shukan Josei, Jin has been saying that his goal is Hollywood!

KAT-TUN’s Tanaka Koki brings smiles to disaster victims

Many artists are doing their part to help bring smiles to those who suffered in the Tohoku disaster, and one in particular is KAT-TUN member Tanaka Koki.
Koki made a trip to the Tagajo Culture Centre in Miyagi on March 27th, as the Tagajo Culture Centre is a shelter for those who were affected by the earthquake. Various tweets and blog reports by those who were there say that they were impressed by him and that he’s a “really good guy”.
Although Johnny’s Entertainment does not allow its artists to give autographs and/or have photos taken, Koki signed and posed for a few fans in hopes that it makes them a bit more happier.

Akanishi Jin apologizes to KAT-TUN members

Akanishi Jin commented on Johnny’s Entertainment’s official mobile site on the 20th.
Jin wrote, “As many of you know, I will be going solo from now on.  I would say the reason for my withdrawal are the directional differences (between Jin and KAT-TUN members).  It’s not that I don’t like the members or have problems with them, so don’t worry.”
Jin also wrote a message to KAT-TUN, “I have troubled you with both big things and small things.  I am sorry.  Thank you and I had so much fun with you.”
According to his comment, Jin will still continue, singing, dancing and acting – the same as he has been doing, but he will broaden his horizons to other Asian countries, the U.S, Europe and of course, Japan.

Crystal Kay apologizes to fans on her blog

Previously, tokyohive reported that singer, Crystal Kay had canceled her tour due to acute nephritis.  On January 29th, Crystal made a new entry on her official blog, and apologized to her fans for the cancellation.
She wrote, “I’m sorry for making all of you worried.  My body seems a little bit tired, but I’m fine!!  It’s not that serious. The doctor told me that it will be better if I get some rest, so you don’t have to worry!!  Since I have never cancelled my tour even once, I’m really really frustrated.  I wanted to show you guys a great show.  I cried reading your comments.  Thank you so much.  By reading these comments, it gives me the feeling of ‘Alright! I’m gonna cure it, and power-up!!!’  I will take a rest and cure it, and I promise I will try hard to make you guys better songs, so please wait for me.  Thank you so much and I will see you guys soon. <3 U ALL.”

Koda Kumi talks about her new album and hall live

Pop diva Koda Kumi recently gave an interview with ‘GET-core’, where she discussed her new album “Dejavu”, as well as her upcoming live shows in Kyushu.

GC: The title of your album released this month is “Dejavu”. Why did you choose that title?
KK: I decided upon the name because the album is full of original songs that have a familiar feel to them. The phrase is in French, and a friend told me that for her, ‘deja vu is when even though there’s been pain in the past, there still exists pain that must be overcome’. So after playing back the album, the name seemed to fit.
GC: How was the album created overall?
KK: When I looked objectively at ‘Koda Kumi’, I think there are two sides to that personality. There’s the private “Ku-chan”, and there’s also the artist ‘Koda Kumi’. This album features both sides of me.
GC: So it’s “Koda Kumi”-ish…?
KK: I’m like ‘Fujiko’ from ‘Lupin the 3rd’! Koda Kumi has this image of having wealth and fame, as well as being strong. Compared to the more private “Ku-chan”, it’s as different as a lion and a rabbit.
GC: The promotional video for your “Pop Diva” single featured strong women battling men.
KK: The promotion video is the same as a movie; it pulls its strength from the song quality. For the video, the image of strong women fighting was a bit exaggerated, but I think women nowadays are very strong. With all the vegetarian men increasing these days, I think the rate of meat-eating women is rising too, and they’re saying “I can do it too, you guys! (laughs)”. There are women in the world who never shed tears, but there are also times where they must overcome trials, and I hope this expresses what they experience.
GC: You have a lot of songs where you sing about love. Are you singing from personal experience?
KK: When writing lyrics, there are many instances of writing about personal experiences. Sometimes when writing lyrics, I interview my female friends because my experiences aren’t the best. When I listen to other people’s experiences of love, I learn how to express many different loves as well.
GC: You seem to have an image as “The Goddess of Love”…
KK: Hahahaha, I’ve got a predisposition to love, it seems. When you don’t love, you feel emptiness. Even when I write those kinds of lyrics, I feel down a bit.
GC: This year, you’ll be going on a hall tour that will take you through Kyushu, including planned stops in Fukuoka, Oita, and Nagasaki. What kind of performance do you want to give?
KK: Since this is my first hall tour in 5 years, I thought, “What could be done with a hall performance up to this point?“, and based my plans off of this idea. I especially hope to impress the audience with ballads for this tour.

A. Lately I’ve been using a lighting mascara called “Angel Ring” (it comes with a light!!), so when I use Lancome’s “Hypnose Dama WP” it brings out the volume a little. Every once in a while I use Maybeline’s “Great Lash” after :)
Q. I’ve liked you ever since your debut ♪ Even now, I listen to your first (single) in the car! What I want to ask is… can you speak Korean? Are you thinking about a Korean debut?
A. Thanks! I can speak just a teeny bit of Korean (lol). My reading and writing are perfect, but learning vocabulary is sooo hard! It’s no good that I don’t do listening or speaking. I’ll think about a Korean debut! I’d like to be able to sing in Korean :)
Q. About how many hours of sleep do you get every day? ☆ And what is your favorite character? (^ω^)
A. My favorite character is Ariel from “The Little Mermaid“!! I’ve loved her ever since I was a kid. And, about going to bed everyday… I sleep about seven hours??? :)
Q. What app do you always use to upload pictures on your blog? And, I wanna know about the countries you’ve visited so far (^_^)
A. I use a bunch of different apps, but lately I’ve been using one called “Little Photo” a lot :) It’s fun making different arrangements!! And the countries I’ve been to are America, Spain, France, Greece, London, the Philippines, Korea, and Australia!
Q. Please tell us what your favorite album or artist has been lately.
A. Recently, the song that keeps coming up is Alexis Jordan’s song “Happiness“! It’s a song that’s perfectly perfectly suited for days when the weather’s nice and for drives ☆  As for albums, it’s Kanye’s “My dark beautiful twisted fantasy“.
Q. When your heart’s been broken, what song gets you through it?
A. Alice Key’s song “Lesson Learned” is super good!!
Q. (1) When you get tickled, are you the kind of person that rolls around laughing? Or are you the kind of person that patiently endures it and doesn’t laugh even when you’re tickled? (2) In order, where are you most ticklish out of these: the sole of your foot, your stomach, or under your armpits?
A. I’m the kind of person who squirms around laughing!!! 1) Under my armpits 2) the sole of my foot 3) my stomach

Why did Akanishi Jin threaten to leave Twitter?

Pop singer Akanishi Jin posted a series of warning messages over his official Twitter, threatening to leave Twitter if his fans didn’t stop harassing his friends.
Akanishi frequently has intimate talks with female celebrities such as BENI, BoA, and Crystal Kay – as his well as his dance crew members Lizzy and Aubree - over Twitter, but a few of his messages appear to have sparked some intense jealousy among his female fans.

His first couple of tweets regarding the issue were posted on April 11th, where he expressed his frustration in romanized Japanese (Japanese words written using the Latin alphabet). “Among my followers, there are people who’ve been writing offensive things on my friends’ Twitters. I’m sorry, but can you please stop it?“, he tweeted, followed by, “If this keeps going on, I’m going to quit Twitter. It’s offensive.”
When Japanese fans saw his disguised messages, many began to worry about the singer leaving Twitter for good. Akanishi made sure to reassure his fans, however, when he turned his mood around completely and updated his official Twitter with the English message, “don’t worry ppl i wont quit. just ignore them:)”. His previous tweets about quitting Twitter were also deleted.

Akanishi Jin & BoA continue to fight/flirt on Twitter

Akanishi Jin only recently joined Twitter about a week ago, but he has already made his fame known, interacting with fellow celebrities Shirota Yu, Shirota Jun, BENI, Crystal Kay, and most notably, BoA.
The latter has especially been involved in his tweets right from the beginning, as within a few hours of starting his account, they were already play fighting.

Well apparently some people took that comment about BoA the wrong way, and Jin took to Twitter to clarify his interactions with her, and then proceeded to “fight” with her some more.

Whatever their relationship is, it’s hilarious to see honest public interaction between idols on Twitter, and bonus points are given for all of it being in English.

Akanishi Jin heads to Hungary for his upcoming movie, “47 RONIN”

Pop star Akanishi Jin recently headed to Hungary to shoot scenes for the upcoming movie “47 RONIN“, where he gave a short message to fans.

According to Akanishi, he is currently staying in Budapest to the film the movie, which is so far coming along quite steadily. In addition, Akanishi promotes his new concert DVD, “Yellow Gold Tour 3011″.

Marching J’s second activity to be a baseball game at Tokyo Dome

“Marching J“, which is a disaster relief project of Johnny & Associates, will be holding a charity baseball game at Tokyo Dome on May 29th.
As we reported previously, they held a fundraising event for three days in April, and the president of Johnny & Associates, Johnny Kitagawa, stated that he was planning to hold a charity event every month, with a part of the profit donated to disaster relief.

SuG upcoming single!!!!!

SuG unveils new info on their upcoming single, “☆Gimme Gimme☆”

Visual Kei band SuG has just revealed some new information on their upcoming single, “☆Gimme Gimme☆”!

The single will be released on June 15th and will come in three different versions: ‘Limited Edition A (CD+DVD)’, ‘Limited Edition B (CD+DVD)’, and a regular version (CD-only).
The title track has already been claimed as the theme song to the upcoming movie, “Pole Dancing Boys”, and is said to be a catchy tune with SuG’s characteristic pop sound. Fans who purchase the regular version of the single will receive one of ten random trading cards of the members.

SuG, ViViD,DOUBT and more to appear at ‘Kirakira Summer Typhoon!! Tour 2011

Rock bands SuG, ViViD, Doubt, and BORN made an announcement earlier this month that they’ll be embarking on a co-op tour, and the dates for this highly-anticipated summer event have just been revealed!

“Kirakira Summer Typhoon!! Tour 2011″ is named for the glittering new generation of visual kei that the four bands represent. Fans will get a taste of the legendary and the new, as upcoming band ‘Doubt’ will debut later this year, and rookie band BORN will play as the opening act for the rest of the guests.
All performances will be held at Zepp performances halls around the nation, beginning in Zepp Nagoya on July 20th and ending on July 28th for a total of six concerts. It costs ￥4,500 to reserve a ticket to any of the events.
Prior to this tour, SuG will be headlining their own month-long tour, named “SuG 2011 Nen SPRING TOUR”. The first of the band’s twelve performances will be held on April 2nd at Kashiwa PALOOZA OPEN.

ViViD’s “BLUE” to be new theme song for “BLEACH”

ViViD’s “BLUE” to be new theme song for “BLEACH”

Visual Kei rock band ViViD has announced that they will release their new single, “BLUE”, in the summer of this year.
The follow up to their major debut single, “[Yume] ~ MUGEN NO KATANA ~”, “BLUE” is the opening theme song to the newest season of the hit anime series, “BLEACH”, which premiered today on April 12th.
Vocalist Shin expressed, “I’m really happy about this. Ever since BLEACH began its serialization in the weekly publication of Shonen Jump, I have fondly followed the story and cannot express with words how ecstatic I am to have the opportunity to collaborate with this excellent work.” He then continued, “I hope this single will be beloved to everyone much like BLEACH itself.”
The release date and covers will be revealed at a later date, but Chaku-Uta ringtones will be released beginning May 15th.

Visual kei band ViViD to make major debut

It’s been announced that visual kei band ViViD will make their major debut on January 19th, 2011, and their debut single is titled, “「Yume」~Mugen no Kanata e~.”
ViViD was formed in March 2009, and it’s only been a year and seven months since their formation, so their major debut is happening quite fast.  They debuted as indie band in July 2009 with the single “Take-off”, and have been popular since.  ViViD consists of five members: Shin (Vo.), Ryoga (Gt), Reno (Gt), Eve (Ba), and Ko-ki (Dr).

ViViD announces new tour for 2011

Visual kei band ViViD has just updated their official website with tour dates for an upcoming tour, “ViViD ONEMAN LIVE TOUR 2011 ‘Dear…ViViD COLORS’”!
The tour hosts a total of nine different performances across Japan, with tickets costing ￥3,900 (about $42 USD) per person. Reservations for the final performance on May 15th will cost ￥4,500 (approximately $52 USD). All tickets can be purchased through the online websites provided on this page.

ViViD to sing theme song for online game, “SPECIAL FORCE”

Visual kei band ViViD will be singing a brand new song for the popular multi-player online game, “SPECIAL FORCE”!

The band’s new song is titled “CRISIS”, and will be included on their upcoming summer single, “BLUE”. The single is scheduled to release on May 15th.
“I’m really glad that our song’s become the theme song to a game like this,” said ViViD’s vocalist Shin when asked about their latest tie-up. “I feel like there’s a link between the approaching crisis in ‘SPECIAL FORCE’ and the lyrics of our song, ‘CRISIS’.”

THE KIDDIE will release a new Maxi-single entitled "Nutty Nasty" on May 25th. There will be a limited edition that will include the CD plus a DVD that feature's the music video for "Nutty Nasty" for 1,575 yen. The regular edition is just the CD for 1,260 yen.

While i was browsing the net yesterday, i saw a post by a Chinese hyphen. She translated UEDA TATSUYA's manual (JWeb), and guess what?

UEDA TATSUYA IS NOW CERTIFIED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL BOXER!!!

Congrats my beloved Tat-chan! I'm so proud of you <3<3<3<3

according to his manual, he went for the test of Grade C of airboxing and he passed!!! and he said he wants to continue to be graded for Grade B then get a Grade A eventually!
